Stepping up to the mic for a special occasion, Nashville’s in-demand Tree Vibez Music songwriter and producer Corey Crowder drops a new single titled My Poor Mama.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line encouraged me to release this new single. They explained that you don’t have to be touring all the time to release music. They were like man, the world needs to hear your voice.” explains Corey. “I was working in a session with Jordan Schmidt, Jaren Johnston and James McNair when we began the writing process for the song. Jordan had come into the session with the title ‘My Poor Mama’ and  I was immediately into it.”

Featuring a bluesy groove, heavy backbeat, and low-slung guitars, the good-natured track loudly proclaims a tough guy’s tender side. Detailing the luxurious life every mother deserves, Crowder serves up an anthem filled with private jets, infinity pools, and fast Corvettes – all of the things the matriarch of the house ought to have for bailing her kids out of countless tight spots. “If saving my can was worth a million dollars / Than nobody’d be richer than my poor mama,” sings the longtime songwriter and producer.

After releasing his new release, Corey isn’t planning on stopping here with future plans. With a catalog of music that he absolutely loves, Corey hopes to release four to five singles a year to support his solo career.

“I love that there’s songs that fit my brand as a singer and as an artist, but there are songs I’ve loved that no artist has ever cut, you know, and, and I think that that’s really cool because you’re giving people songs that maybe are personal favorites amongst our inner songwriting circles.” explains Corey.

The Loganville, GA-native relocated to Nashville in 2010, to focus his talents on behind-the-scenes hitmaking, after launching his career as an aspiring artist. With early top-charting success as a songwriter with Chris Young’s 2X PLATINUM, three-week #1 “I’m Comin’ Over,” PLATINUM #1 “Think of You” (featuring Cassadee Pope), and “Hangin’ On,” as well as scoring his first #1 as a producer with Young’s GOLD album, I’M COMIN’ OVER, Crowder continues to push the envelope. A songwriter on current U.S. chart-climbing singles, Florida Georgia Line’s “I Love My Country” and Chris Young’s “Drowning,” he recently hit #1 with Canadian singles: Jess Moskaluke’s “Country Girls,” MacKenzie Porter’s “About You,” and Aaron Pritchett’s “Better When I Do,” while notching producer credits on FGL’s “I Love My Country” plus their “Yummy (Country Remix)” with Justin Bieber, in addition to Chris Young’s “Drowning” and LOCASH’s “One Big Country Song.”

Earning a place at the top of the charts in the U.S. and Canada with eight #1s as an acclaimed songwriter and producer, his tunes have been cut by Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band, Dustin Lynch, Chris Young, Jake Owen, Morgan Wallen, RaeLynn, Canaan Smith, and more, while his production credits include work for FGL, Chris Young, Chris Tomlin, LOCASH, Cassadee Pope, RaeLynn, Jamie Lynn Spears, among others. Stacking key placements on hit TV shows like GainesvilleNashvilleOne Tree HillThe Biggest Loser, and The Real World, Crowder is an ACM, Billboard Music Awards, and GRAMMY nominee.
